Loading Part
Loading Cart: It is used to transport and place the metal coil on the uncoiler. It usually has the functions of adjustable height and position to adapt to coils and uncoilers of different specifications.
Uncoiler: It supports the coil and unrolls it. It is composed of a drum, a base, and a transmission system. It often comes with a hydraulic auxiliary support and a material head clamping device. The pressing wheels and pressing rollers are generally rubber-coated and driven by a hydraulic motor.


Shearing Part
Material Guiding Device: It guides the unrolled coil to accurately enter the subsequent processing equipment, ensuring the running direction and position accuracy of the coil.
Straightening Machine and Flattening Machine: They perform straightening and flattening treatment on the coil, eliminating defects such as bending and waves generated during the rolling process of the coil, making the surface of the coil flat, and facilitating subsequent shearing and processing.
Longitudinal Shearing Machine: The core component, composed of multiple sets of blades. It cuts the coil into narrow strips of the required width along the longitudinal direction through the rotating blades. The distance between the cutter shafts can be adjusted to meet different cutting width requirements.
Waste Edge Rewinder: It collects and winds the waste edge materials generated during the longitudinal shearing process, keeping the working area clean and tidy. At the same time, it is convenient for the unified treatment of the waste edge materials.


Winding Part
Tension Mechanism: Such as the belt tension station. By adjusting the tension of the belt, it makes the cut narrow strips maintain an appropriate tension during the winding process, ensuring the neatness and tightness of the winding.
Rewinder: It winds the cut narrow strips into a coil. It is composed of a frame, a main shaft, an expandable and contractible core shaft with a jaw, a winding separation device, a braking device, a double reduction device, an auxiliary support, a pushing device, a power part, etc.
Unloading Cart: It is used to unload the wound coil from the rewinder for subsequent handling, storage or processing.


Auxiliary Part
Hydraulic System: It provides power for equipment such as the uncoiler, longitudinal shearing machine, and rewinder, and realizes various actions of the equipment, such as the expansion and contraction of the drum, the adjustment of the cutter shaft, the clamping and releasing of the pressing device, etc.
Electrical System: It controls the operation of the equipment, including the start, stop, and speed regulation of the motor, as well as the action sequence and coordination of each component. Usually, an advanced PLC control system is adopted, which can achieve automated operation and precise control.
Pneumatic System: In some equipment, it is used to provide auxiliary power, such as pneumatic clamping devices, pneumatic braking devices, etc.


Working Principle
The metal coil is first transported to the uncoiler by the loading cart. The uncoiler unrolls the coil and sends it to the straightening machine and flattening machine for straightening and flattening through the material guiding device. The processed coil enters the longitudinal shearing machine, and the blades of the longitudinal shearing machine cut the coil into multiple narrow strips according to the preset width. The waste edges generated during the cutting process are collected by the waste edge rewinder. The cut narrow strips adjust the tension through the tension mechanism and then enter the rewinder to be wound into a coil. After the winding is completed, the unloading cart unloads the coil.


Types of Equipment
According to the structural form: There are single-entry loop longitudinal shearing, single-exit loop longitudinal shearing, and double-loop longitudinal shearing.
According to the degree of automation: It can be divided into fully automatic longitudinal shearing and winding lines and semi-automatic longitudinal shearing and winding lines. The fully automatic equipment has a high degree of automation and requires less human intervention; the semi-automatic equipment requires human participation in some operation links.
