Uncoiling Function
The uncoiler is capable of performing uncoiling operations on metal sheet coils with different widths and thicknesses. The rotation of the reel is driven by an electric motor, gradually loosening the coiled sheets. The rotational speed of the reel can be adjusted according to production requirements to adapt to different production line speeds. For example, in a high-speed stamping production line, the reel of the uncoiler can rotate rapidly to ensure the timely supply of sheets.
Tension Control
To ensure the flatness and stability of the sheets during the uncoiling process, the uncoiler is equipped with a tension control system. This system can control the tension of the sheets by adjusting the braking device of the reel or the output torque of the motor. For instance, when the sheets are relatively thin, the system will appropriately reduce the tension to prevent the sheets from being stretched and deformed. For thicker sheets, the tension can be increased to ensure that the sheets can be smoothly uncoiled.
Centering Function
Most uncoilers have an automatic centering function. Through sensors installed on the equipment (such as photoelectric sensors or mechanical centering devices), the position of the sheets can be monitored in real time, and by adjusting the lateral position of the reel or the angle of the guide rollers, the sheets can always be kept in the central position. This is very important for subsequent processing procedures, such as stamping and cutting, and can avoid processing quality problems caused by the sheets running off course.

Sheets of Different Specifications
The uncoiler can handle sheets within a wide range of widths, applicable from narrow steel strips to wide aluminum sheets. The size of its reel can also be designed according to different coil diameters, capable of accommodating test material coils with small coil diameters to large steel coils used in industrial production. In terms of thickness, it can handle not only thin metal foils such as those with a thickness of 0.1 - 0.5mm, which are used for fine processing like the casings of electronic devices, but also sheets with a thickness of several millimeters, which are used in fields such as heavy machinery manufacturing.
Sheets of Multiple Materials
It is applicable to various metal sheets, including common carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, copper alloy, etc. Sheets of different materials have different physical properties, such as hardness and elastic modulus. The uncoiler can effectively uncoil these sheets of different materials through appropriate tension and speed control. For example, for stainless steel sheets with relatively high hardness, the uncoiler may adopt a slightly higher tension and a slower speed to ensure the uncoiling quality.
