Structural Composition
Drum System: It is composed of a hollow core shaft and sector plates. The core shaft has a cantilever structure and is connected to the sector plates through dovetail grooves with a slope, which can achieve radial expansion and contraction to hold or release the steel coil tightly. The tail end of the drum shaft is connected to a rotary cylinder, and the axial sliding of the four-sided shaft is driven by the piston rod to control the expansion and contraction of the sector plates.
Transmission System: It is usually composed of a variable frequency speed-regulating motor, a gearbox, etc. The motor provides power, and after being decelerated by the gearbox, it drives the drum shaft, enabling the drum to drive the steel coil to rotate.
Machine Body Structure: Generally, it is a welded box-shaped structure, which has high strength and stability and provides a support and installation foundation for other components.
Support Arm Device: It is located at the head of the drum. When there is a steel coil, the cylinder drives the support arm to hold the head of the drum, enhancing the stability of the drum during the uncoiling process. Usually, the support arm is retracted.
Tensioning Device: Such as a rotary cylinder, it drives the four-sided shaft through components like the piston rod and the tie rod to achieve the expansion and contraction of the sector plates, thereby tensioning or releasing the steel coil.
Control System: With the PLC as the core, it can realize operations such as automatic feeding, uncoiling, and material feeding. It can also precisely control parameters such as tension and position. Some are equipped with a touch screen for convenient operation and parameter setting.
Working Principle
The steel plate uncoiler drives the drum shaft to rotate through the motor and the reducer, enabling the drum to drive the steel coil to rotate and achieve uncoiling. At the same time, the rotary cylinder pushes the inclined slider to make the sector plates expand and contract radially to tension or release the steel coil. During the uncoiling process, the tension control system ensures that the steel plate maintains an appropriate tension when it is unrolled, and the centering control system makes the steel plate automatically centered, ensuring the uncoiling quality and the smooth progress of subsequent processing.
Technical Parameters
Applicable Steel Plate Thickness: The common range is 0.1mm - 6.0mm, which varies with different models. For example, some small uncoilers are suitable for steel plates with a thickness of 0.2mm - 2.0mm.
Applicable Steel Plate Width: Generally, it is 0 - 2000mm. Specifically, according to the equipment specifications, for example, some can process steel plates with a width of 400mm - 1350mm.
Steel Coil Weight: Usually, it is 50 - 20000kg, and heavy-duty uncoilers can bear heavier steel coils.
Motor Power: According to the size and performance of the equipment, it ranges from several tens of kilowatts to over one hundred kilowatts. For example, the motor power of a small uncoiler may be 30kW - 50kW, and that of a large one can reach over 100kW.
Uncoiling Speed: Generally, it is several meters to dozens of meters per minute. The speed of a high-speed uncoiler can reach over 50 meters per minute.
Tension Control Range: It can be precisely adjusted within a certain range according to the material and thickness of the steel plate, such as 500N - 5000N.
