Definition and Working Principle

A shearing machine is a machine that cuts sheet materials by making a reciprocating linear motion of one blade relative to the other. Mainly by means of the moving upper blade and the fixed lower blade, with a reasonable blade clearance, it applies shearing force to various thicknesses of metal sheet materials, causing the sheet materials to break and separate according to the required dimensions.

Taking the mechanically-driven shearing machine as an example, the electric motor drives the flywheel shaft through a belt, and then drives the eccentric shaft through the clutch and the gear reduction system. Then, the connecting rod drives the upper tool holder to make an up-and-down reciprocating motion to carry out the shearing work. The cam on the left end of the eccentric wheel drives the plunger of the pressure oil tank, sending the pressure oil back to the pressure feet to press the sheet materials tightly before shearing, and during the return stroke, the spring force makes the pressure feet return.
